Who we are

Kanta (“we”, “us”) operates the Kanta mobile app, a skill-based timing game in which players can win food vouchers. You can reach us at hello@chopkanta.com.

What we collect

  • Phone number — used to create and sign in to your account via a one-time SMS code. It is your account identifier.
  • Game activity — your plays, timing results, retries, wins, and voucher claims. This is how the game works and how we detect cheating.
  • Voucher records — vouchers you win and their claim codes, so they can be honoured.
  • Advertising identifiers — when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob (and, in future, other ad networks) processes device advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, under their own policies.
  • Usage analytics — anonymised app events (screens opened, games played) to understand how the app is used.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment card details. Vouchers are redeemed with the merchant, not paid through the app.

Who we share data with

  • Supabase — hosts our database and authentication.
  • Twilio — delivers the SMS sign-in codes to your phone.
  • Google AdMob — serves rewarded ads and verifies ad completion. See Google’s privacy policy for how it handles ad data.
  • Mixpanel — processes our usage analytics.
  • Chowdeck — receives only what is necessary to honour a voucher you have won.

We do not sell your personal data.

Fair play

Timing data from your games is analysed to detect cheating. Accounts that manipulate game timing or ad rewards may be suspended and their activity records retained for audit.

Retention and deletion

Your account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and associated personal data, email hello@chopkanta.com from a message containing your registered phone number. Fraud-audit records may be retained where the law allows.

Children

Kanta is not directed at children under 18, and vouchers are only awarded to account holders who can lawfully receive them.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address above.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and note the date above.
